Well we are doing it again. This time we are more agile as the kids are older. So we have gone for a campervan this time. We only have seven weeks this time so must make the days count.

Opportunities like this do not come around everyday. After 16 years working and living in Australia we have a window of opportunity. I am between jobs and Sarah has long service leave. Sarah works in a busy inner city Emergency department and loves her job. Good as Sarah's job is it's still stressful at times. So what to do when you need a long break? We both think big so why not go round Europe for a 6 months! As anybody with small children will know hotels are difficult with kids so what is the alternative? A caravan! You can go where you want, cook what you want and stay as long as you fancy. Hence the trip. Simple in principal but lots of detail to it realize it.
