Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point of Europe, so the beginning or end of Europe depending on your point of view. Dramatic cliffs, 1or 2 solitary apostles, an arch and fantastic Atlantic swell. A lighthouse as well...(my favourite!)
Really beautiful coastal scenery. All topped off by finding a lovely cafe with a verandah in the shade of pine trees, they'd stopped serving food so had to settle for ice-cream instead. A, C & S were very disappointed!!!!!
